Schedule:

We are a 24 hour, 7 day a week, 365 day operating facility.  Rotating shifts are 12 hours.  Assigned shift could be days, mid-days, evenings, or overnights.  Holidays are worked as assigned.

This position is a 2-2-3 work week (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on rotating).

Example:

Week 1: WORK Monday & Tuesday, OFF Wednesday & Thursday, WORK Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Week 2: OFF Monday & Tuesday, WORK Wednesday & Thursday, OFF Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Age Requirement

High School Graduate or Equivalent 

Type 36 Words per Minute

Must Pass Standardized Dispatch Test (Can be taken at home online)

Must Pass Background Check

Must Pass Drug Screen

All training is paid on-the-job training!

Responsibilities (Once trained):

▪️ Receive incoming telephone calls on the administrative and 9-1-1 emergency phone lines and identify the proper public safety response.

▪️ Enter all information pertaining to Calls for Service into Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.

▪️ Update the CAD as to dispatched, arrive and clear of Public Safety Units and to maintain the units current location in CAD.

▪️ Receive and properly disseminate MULES / NCIC information as governed by law and MULES policies and procedures.
