Eric Burlison, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, has expressed his views on the Democratic Party’s approach towards Elon Musk through a series of tweets. Having replaced Billy Long in 2023, Burlison continues to make his presence felt in the political landscape.

On February 12, 2025, Burlison tweeted about the Democrats’ focus on Elon Musk rather than policy discussions. He stated: “Democrats can’t discuss policy, so they attack Elon Musk instead. It’s pathetic and irresponsible.” The tweet was accompanied by an assertion that efforts are being made to save the country for future generations.

Later that day, Burlison commented again on what he perceives as the Democrats’ preoccupation with Musk. He tweeted: “Democrats are absolutely losing their minds over Elon Musk. And folks, this is just the beginning!” This post further emphasizes his view on the ongoing situation.

On February 13, 2025, Burlison addressed accusations regarding Musk’s financial motivations related to DOGE endeavors. He described such claims as laughable and criticized what he sees as a misguided journey by those on the Left: “The notion that Elon Musk is attempting to ‘get rich’ from his DOGE endeavors is both laughable and pathetic.”
