Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, has recently expressed his views on various political issues through social media posts. Burlison, who took office in 2023 after serving in the Missouri House of Representatives and Senate, is known for his outspoken stance on government transparency and accountability.

On November 19, 2024, Burlison criticized the Democratic Party’s influence over the Department of Justice by stating: “Democrats have turned the DOJ into the Department of Injustice.” He further expressed support for Matt Gaetz’s efforts to address corruption within the department.

Later that day, Burlison praised a colleague from Tennessee with whom he shares political alignment. He remarked: “Great work by my friend from Tennessee @RepTimBurchett.” He emphasized that “The American people deserve to know the truth.”

In another post on November 20, 2024, Burlison advocated for governmental reform and transparency. He declared: “The American people deserve government transparency.” Additionally, he suggested drastic changes were necessary in Washington D.C., saying it “needs a purge.”
