On May 11, 2025, Rep. Burlison extended his wishes for Mother’s Day through a tweet. He stated, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms who give so much for their families each and every day!”

The following day, May 12, 2025, Burlison addressed fiscal policy via Twitter. He emphasized the importance of budgetary discipline by suggesting that Republicans should focus on identifying spending cuts to facilitate tax reductions. He tweeted: “By finding the necessary spending cuts to fund tax cuts, Republicans can prove they’re serious about fiscal responsibility. It’s time to stop compromising.”

Eric Burlison was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and currently resides in Ozark. A graduate of Missouri State University with degrees obtained in 2000 and 2002, he has been involved in public service at various levels since his initial election to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2009.
