NEWS ON STATE CONGRESS

Southwest Regional Representative Nathaniel Hudson retired from his position today and passed the torch on to Andrew Shelton from Barton County. 

State 4-H Council advisor Bob McNary also retired from his role with the council.

Five Southwest Missouri 4-H youth were awarded positions as delegates to the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia, this coming November.

Monett

City of Monett and football team continue downtown beautification efforts

The City of Monett has partnered with student athletes from the local football team on new downtown beautification projects. Volunteers are refurbishing trash cans along Broadway Street ahead of upcoming celebrations. More community service activities are planned for later this summer.
