Rep. Eric Burlison, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 7th district, has expressed his views on various national issues through social media. His recent posts cover topics such as public health, the performance of federal agencies, and political leadership in the United States.

On January 29, 2025, Rep. Burlison addressed concerns about public health in America. He stated: “The real conspiracy is the gaslighting that America is healthy.” He emphasized that chronic illness is increasing and life expectancy is decreasing while accusing corporations of polluting essential resources like food, air, and water without facing consequences.

Later on the same day, he criticized the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), calling for its abolition due to past failures. In his post at 16:08 UTC, he wrote: “The ATF is a disaster and must be abolished.” He cited incidents involving Bryan Malinowski in 2024 and the Fast & Furious operation from 2009 to 2011 as examples of these failures.

In another tweet posted at 17:47 UTC on January 29, Burlison commented on the early days of a new presidential administration with former President Donald Trump and Senator J.D. Vance at its helm. He remarked: “A lot of this lately.” Referring to it as “Day 9 of the Trump-Vance administration,” he concluded with “MAGA.”
