Where: Northbound U.S. Route 65 nighttime lane Closures just north of Sawmill Road and Southbound U.S. Route 65 nighttime lane Closures just south of Hopkins Road north of Saddlebrooke

When: 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. Monday – Friday, March 6-10, 13-17

What: Contractor crews to install high friction surface treatment on Route 65. Crews have been installing guardrail on southbound Route 65, south of Saddlebrooke at night, and plan to have it completed by mid-March. This is part of the U.S. Route 65 Resurfacing and Safety Improvements in Christian and Taney County.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Northbound U.S. Route 65 nighttime lane Closures just north of Sawmill Road north of Saddlebrooke to install high friction surface treatment
  • Southbound U.S. Route 65 nighttime lane Closures just south of Hopkins Road north of Saddlebrooke to install high friction surface treatment
  • Southbound U.S. Route 65 nighttime lane Closures south of Saddlebrooke to install guardrail
  • One lane of Route 65 is open at all times
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
