At 4 p.m. Friday, March 13, the Northeastern State Riverhawks, featuring former Carthage High School standout Jensyn Elder, secured a 4-1 victory over the Washburn Ichabods in NCAA Division II softball.
Gahnstrom Field hosted the contest, which marked the Riverhawks’ first meeting with the Ichabods this season.
Elder gave up one earned run across seven innings, issuing three walks and notching two strikeouts.
The Riverhawks are slated to play Washburn again on Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. at Gahnstrom Field.
