Rep. Eric Burlison, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 7th district, has made several statements on social media regarding his stance on firearms legislation and political issues involving President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. Burlison, who replaced Billy Long in 2023, has a history of political service in Missouri’s legislative bodies.

On December 2, 2024, Rep. Burlison expressed his position on firearms regulation with a succinct call to action: “Repeal the NFA.”

The following day, December 3, 2024, he criticized the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), stating that “The ATF repeatedly violates your Second Amendment rights. We must abolish the ATF.”

Later that same day, Burlison commented on President Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter Biden. He asserted that this action “only vindicates President Trump,” claiming it was an attempt by the “Deep State” to undermine Trump through various impeachments and alleged hoaxes.
