Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district since 2023, has expressed his views on various political issues through recent social media posts. Having served in the Missouri House of Representatives and Senate prior to his current role, Burlison continues to voice strong opinions on national matters.

On March 25, 2025, Burlison criticized reactions to a recent incident involving Signal. He compared the public response to this event with past controversies such as “Clinton’s email scandal,” “Milley’s CCP collusion,” and “Biden’s garage docs.” According to him, these were more significant yet dismissed issues. “The liberal meltdown over the Signal mishap is pure theater, dwarfed by Clinton’s email scandal, Milley’s CCP collusion, and Biden’s garage docs, which they conveniently dismissed despite their gravity.”

On March 26, 2025, Burlison addressed legislative priorities concerning firearms regulations. He urged Congress to repeal the National Firearms Act (NFA) or at least eliminate what he described as an unconstitutional tax burden on Americans’ constitutional rights. “If Congress isn’t bold enough to repeal the NFA, at the very least we must eliminate the unconstitutional $200 tax stamp. Americans shouldn’t be taxed for their constitutional rights.”

Later that day, Burlison critiqued NPR for its stance on gun control while allegedly overlooking other societal issues. He invited followers to watch a hearing featuring NPR and PBS leaders at the DOGE Committee live online. “NPR relentlessly demands total gun control, stripping law-abiding citizens of their rights, yet shamelessly hands a free pass to transgender individuals.”
