58 percent of applicants to Ozark Christian College were admitted for fall 2018

At Ozark Christian College, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Joplin enrolled 608 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 8.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

32 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 65 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (84 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (5 percent).

The school admitted 58 percent of the 384 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 61 percent enrolled.
