Graduates earn 149 degrees from Ozark Christian College

About 100 percent of the 149 degrees and certificates handed out by Ozark Christian College in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Joplin conferred 126 bachelor's degrees and 23 associate's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in bible/biblical studies. Data shows the school gave out 109 bachelor's degrees in bible/biblical studies, followed by 18 associate's degrees in bible/biblical studies and 10 bachelor's degrees in theology/theological studies.

The college enrolled 608 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
