Census Bureau reports Joplin population was 50,386 in 2019

Joplin had a population of 50,386 people in 2019, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Missouri News.

The median age was 36, with 50.8 percent of the total population being female and 49.2 percent male.

The state's total population in 2019 was 6,104,910.
