Census Bureau: More women than men in Joplin in 2020

Of the 50,580 people living in Joplin in 2020, 50.9 percent (25,726) were women and 49.1 percent (24,854) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Missouri News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 359. In the 65 and over age range, there were 5,373 females and 3,703 males.
