Census Bureau: 76.5 percent of people in Barton County were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 11,732 citizens living in Barton County in 2020, 8,976 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 4,593 of those people were female and 4,383 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
