Jasper County had unemployment rate of 4.1% in 2021

Jasper County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 2,442 people out of the 122,059 living in Jasper County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Jasper County has decreased compared to the 4.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Jasper County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Of the 57,188 people who had a job during that time, 41 were employed in the Armed Forces and 57,147 belonged to the civilian labor force.
