Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district since 2023, recently shared several statements on social media addressing legislative matters and personal opinions. His career in public service includes time in the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate.

Later that day, Burlison announced his introduction of the Life at Conception Act. He elaborated on its purpose by saying, "I am proud to introduce the Life at Conception Act, which reaffirms the original intent of the 14th Amendment by declaring that the term ‘person’ includes all human beings from the moment of conception." He further asserted that "It is a scientific fact that life begins at conception."

In another post on January 24, 2025, Burlison commented on an unnamed individual's pension rights with a statement suggesting financial consequences. He wrote, "He should not receive a pension, either. Stay tuned."
