Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 7th district since 2023, has been vocal on social media about various issues and achievements. Having previously served in the Missouri House of Representatives and Senate, Burlison continues to engage with his constituents through platforms like X.

On May 14, 2025, Burlison expressed his concerns regarding Medicaid by stating that it is "the poster child for government dysfunction." He emphasized that "fixing it requires real courage," but noted there is "a dangerous shortage of that in Congress." Read more.

Eric Burlison, born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark, graduated from Missouri State University with a BA in 2000 and again in 2002. He succeeded Billy Long as the representative of Missouri's 7th district.
