Jensyn Elder, former Carthage High School standout, played on Sunday, Feb. 2 in NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Carthage High School standout Jensyn Elder’s current college team, the Rogers State Hillcats, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Hillcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3:20 p.m. at Gerry Pinkston Stadium against Western New Mexico Mustangs.
