On Saturday, March 1, former McDonald County High School standout Alexa Hopkins’ current college team, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drake Bulldogs.

The game took place at Collins Family Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Golden Hurricane’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 2:50 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowgirls.
