On Saturday, March 8, former Carl Junction High School standout Jake Ford’s current college team, the Southwest Baptist Bearcats, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the McKendree Bearcats.

The game took place at Hypes Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Bearcats this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Dodson Field against William Jewell Cardinals.
