On Saturday, March 1, former Carl Junction High School standout Jake Ford’s current college team, the Southwest Baptist Bearcats, lost 12-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Dodson Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at Hypes Field against McKendree Bearcats.
