On Friday, Feb. 7, former Webb City High School standout Peyton Hawkins’ current college team, the Missouri Southern State Lions, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place at Bentonville High School. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park against Upper Iowa Peacocks.
