Freeman Health System has temporarily stopped mammography services at its Women’s Pavilion in Joplin. The pause follows a recent review by the organization's accrediting body, which identified regulatory requirements that need to be addressed. This action is part of ongoing corrective steps that began last year.

The health system is working with the American College of Radiology (ACR) to clarify and resolve the issues found during the review. Freeman Health aims to meet all necessary standards and have its services fully reinstated.
