McNally began caring for others early in life after her mother was diagnosed with cancer. At age 9, she took on responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, and providing comfort to her mother, who lost significant weight during her illness. After a year, her mother passed away.

Those who have been cared for by McNally speak highly of her compassion and dedication. One person said, “I would consider her family, and an honorary aunt of our son.” Another shared, “She loves our babies like her own.” A third person commented, “She made a scary, unsure time feel not so scary. She was a light in our dark time.”

McNally’s early experiences shaped her approach to caregiving, emphasizing empathy and support for those in need.
