There was a single gas station in cities across Newton County selling diesel at the lowest price of $3.09 per gallon in the week ending July 12, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of diesel in cities within Newton County was $3.29 per gallon.
Of the 35 reported gas stations in cities within Newton County, 12 offer diesel.
The average reported price of diesel in Missouri was $3.35, compared to $3.36 the week before.

At the same time, trade policies—such as tariffs on Canadian and Mexican oil as noted by GasBuddy—are adding extra pressure by increasing costs for refiners, which could impact consumer prices and further challenge household budgets.
