Census Bureau: More men than women in Aurora in 2020

Of the 7,461 people living in Aurora in 2020, 48.8 percent (3,640) were women and 51.2 percent (3,821) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Missouri News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 93. In the 65 and over age range, there were 861 females and 619 males.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau's American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
