In another post made on January 28, 2025, Rep. Burlison addressed conservatives directly concerning a plan proposed by the Freedom Caucus. He stated: "If you're a conservative who values national security, economic stability, and smaller government, opposing the @freedomcaucus '218 for DOGE' plan would be like voting against your own principles."
