These posts highlight his stance on the National Firearms Act (NFA), diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, and the performance of Alejandro Mayorkas in Congress.

On March 4, 2025, Burlison expressed his views on the National Firearms Act of 1934, stating that it "has overstayed its welcome by 90 years." He advocates for reducing regulatory burdens and eliminating taxes to allow Americans to exercise their constitutional rights. Burlison supports H.R.335, which aims to repeal the NFA. In another tweet from the same day, Burlison criticized government reliance on DEI initiatives. He argues that such policies represent "a slow bleed of the vigor that made America great," emphasizing a need to return to equality of opportunity rather than equality of outcome. "A government beholden to DEI isn’t progress."

Later that day, Burlison targeted Alejandro Mayorkas for allegedly misleading Congress and compromising national security. He asserted that under Mayorkas' leadership, the border was never secure and described his legacy as one marked by failure. "Alejandro Mayorkas repeatedly lied to Congress."
