He noted that prices have decreased by $2.70 in just the last week, attributing this change to President Trump's policies with the statement: "Egg prices have just fallen for the third straight week in a row! Down $2.70 in just the last week. President Trump is making breakfast great again!"

In another tweet posted on March 17, 2025, Rep. Burlison raised concerns about Medicaid reimbursement rates for able-bodied adults. He argued that these rates could incentivize healthcare providers to discriminate against vulnerable groups such as disabled individuals, single mothers, and infants: "Higher Medicaid reimbursement rates for able-bodied adults are a problem. They give healthcare providers explicit financial incentive to discriminate against the disabled, single mothers, and infants."
