Eric Burlison discusses JFK records release and national archives access

Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, has been active on social media discussing recent developments regarding national records and transparency. Burlison replaced Billy Long in Congress in 2023 and has previously served in both the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate.

On March 18, 2025, Burlison shared a brief message welcoming home individuals with a patriotic emoji: "Welcome home ".

In another post on March 19, 2025, he informed his followers about the availability of documents at the National Archives facility in College Park, Maryland: "While remaining documents are being uploaded, all released records are available to be viewed in person at the National Archives facility in College Park, Maryland."

On the same day, Burlison highlighted former President Trump's efforts to ensure transparency by releasing numerous records related to the John F. Kennedy assassination: "President Trump has delivered his promise of transparency to the American people and ordered the release of 80,000 records within the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection. Files are available online with more to come."
