Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 7th district, recently shared his views on social media regarding national debt and media funding. Representing Missouri since 2023, Burlison has experience in both the Missouri House of Representatives and Senate.

In a post dated March 26, 2025, Burlison shared a cryptic message stating, "This is the way. https://t.co/Z19pxVxKef".

Later that day, Burlison expressed concerns about the national debt, writing on March 26, 2025: "We are a nation $36 trillion dollars in debt. Even if NPR wasn't the trash partisan state-run media organization that it is, taxpayers still shouldn't be paying for it. @DOGECommittee https://t.co/SgyF0gt93X".

In a subsequent post on March 26, 2025, Burlison addressed the debt crisis, stating, "We can't print our way out of the debt crisis. Lawmakers must jettison the dead weight to save important programs like social security. @DOGECommittee https://t.co/nHn5LGinEh".
