Later that day, Burlison expressed concerns about the national debt, writing on March 26, 2025: "We are a nation $36 trillion dollars in debt. In a subsequent post on March 26, 2025, Burlison addressed the debt crisis, stating, "We can't print our way out of the debt crisis. Lawmakers must jettison the dead weight to save important programs like social security. @DOGECommittee https://t.co/nHn5LGinEh".
