On Monday, March 24, former Carl Junction High School standout Destiny Buerge’s current collegiate team the Pittsburg State Gorillas won 66-55 against the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps during the championship.

Destiny Buerge’s hometown is Carl Junction and game position is guard.
