Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 7th district since 2023, has shared his views on several current issues through recent social media posts. His statements reflect his stance on public broadcasting, budget allocations for federal agencies, and national fiscal policies.

On May 5, 2025, Burlison expressed criticism towards NPR by stating that if the organization "wants to drone on about climate change or 'queer animals,' let them beg for donations like every other activist group." The statement can be viewed here.

Later that day, Burlison commented on former President Trump's proposal to reduce the ATF's budget by 26%. He remarked that this is "a great step toward gutting the agency" and pledged to continue collaborating with colleagues and the White House to pass H.R. 221 aimed at fully eliminating the ATF. On May 6, 2025, Burlison discussed President Trump's budget proposal which suggests returning non-defense spending to pre-COVID levels. He emphasized that this should guide Congress as it deliberates over reconciliation. His comments can be found here.
