Eric Burlison, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 7th district, has recently shared his thoughts on various topics through social media. Having replaced Billy Long in 2023, Burlison has a background in both the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate.

On May 8, 2025, Burlison addressed Payton McNabb's advocacy efforts for women in sports. He commended her courage by stating "@paytonmcnabb_, your courage is unreal. You’re not alone, and your fight’s paving a safer path for women in sports." Burlison criticized those who have allowed men to participate in women's games due to "woke pressure," expressing that they should be ashamed.

Later that day, he shared an image or sentiment about the Gulf of Mexico with a patriotic twist by referring to it as "the Gulf of America!"

In another post from May 8, 2025, Burlison made a satirical comment regarding judicial overreach with religious implications. He wrote "Can’t wait for Judge Boasberg to block the Vatican’s pick for pope with an emergency injunction."

Eric Burlison was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and resides in Ozark. He holds two degrees from Missouri State University.
