Saturday, Feb. 22: McDonald County High School standout Alexa Hopkins’ college team loses to Oklahoma Sooners

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former McDonald County High School standout Alexa Hopkins’ current college team, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The game took place at Love's Field. This was their first matchup against the Sooners this season.

The Golden Hurricane’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Collins Family Softball Complex against South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
