Monday, Feb. 24: Carl Junction High School standout Lucas Vanlanduit’s college team loses to Emporia State Hornets

On Monday, Feb. 24, former Carl Junction High School standout Lucas Vanlanduit’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Emporia State Hornets.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their third matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at Loyola Park Baseball Field against Rockhurst Hawks.
