On Sunday, March 16, former Carl Junction High School standout Jake Ford’s current college team, the Southwest Baptist Bearcats, won 13-12 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the William Jewell Cardinals.

The game took place at Dodson Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Dodson Field against Upper Iowa Peacocks.
