On Tuesday, March 18, former Monett High School standout Marcus Young’s current college team, the Missouri State Lions, won 25-24 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.

The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their second matchup against the Jets this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Wendell Simmons Field against Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
